O adenocarcinoma primário de duodeno é raro, representando menos de 1% de todas as neoplasias gastrointestinais.1 Apesar disso, é o tumor maligno primário duodenal mais frequente e corresponde a 64% dos adenocarcinomas do intestino delgado.2, 3 Localiza-se predominantemente na segunda porção do duodeno.4 Adenocarcinoma duodenal ocorre com maior frequência em pacientes com polipose adenomatosa familiar, doença celíaca, doença de Crohn, Síndrome de Peutz-Jeghers e neurofibromatose tipo I.1, 2 Ilustramos a apresentação deste raro tumor, localizado na terceira porção do duodeno, por diferentes métodos de imagem.
