Abstract

Resumo: O estudo analisa a dinâmica estabelecida pelos organismos internacionais para fortalecer a implantação de programas e políticas para a educação a distância (EaD). Por meio dessa análise, busca apreender se ela tem se configurado como uma ação de cunho neoliberalista, através de um estudo documental, associado à análise do movimento reformista, proposto para aeducação a partir dos anos de 1990, no Brasil. Algumas conclusões mostram que, de fato, a EaD vem se configurando como uma ação neoliberalista no campoeducacional, pois está presente a visão de que ela pode formar profissionais aptos às necessidades atuais do mercado e representa uma forma de diversificação de acesso ao ensino superior.
