Abstract

The objective of the research is to identify the perception of the professors of a Higher Education Institution regarding their participation in postgraduate programs. A survey was carried out and descriptive statistics, factor analysis and regression techniques were used. The results indicated ten main dimensions for professor self-assessment: facilities, internet access, rapport with students, secretariat support, student involvement, course coordination, international production, international production with students, and alignment with the research line. Among these, the ones with the most positive impact on the perception of contribution to the program are the alignment with the research line, international production and course coordination.
