A gestão educacional no Brasil: os legados da ditadura

Abstract

Este artigo apresenta uma leitura das heranças legadas pelo regime
da ditadura militar no Brasil (1964-1985) à gestão da educação no país. O texto
apresenta um contexto da educação no período mencionado e, na sequência, enfatiza
a tecnocracia como o elemento determinante na concepção de gestão educacional
desenvolvida à época. O artigo ainda analisa as consequências desta concepção para
a gestão da escola atual, bem como dos sistemas de ensino. As conclusões apontam
para uma herança ainda forte na gestão da escola, com o domínio centrado em uma
concepção técnica de diretor escolar mas, ao mesmo tempo, para a superação do
legado da ditadura militar, no que tange à gestão dos sistemas de ensino, em particular
no que se refere às formas e razões para o planejamento educacional.
