Abstract

O artigo identifica traços das teorias de Administração EScolar produzidas por Querino Ribeiro e Lourenço Filho, mediante análise de seus respectivos livros, Ensaio de uma teoria da administração escolar e Organização e administração escolar. A biliografia, citada pelos dois autores, permitiu identificar raízes e processos de constituição de modelos teóricos, como o racional-burcrático, o de sistema social e o sócio-intervencionista. O conceito de funcionamento díptico e a perspectiva sociológica das escolas embasaram a investigação das condições e processos de produção de teorias. A análise de conteúdo possibilitou um panorama da evolução do conhecimento sobre Administração Escolar no Brasil durante o período de 1930-1963.
