Diversidade étnico-racial, inclusão e equidade na educação brasileira: desafios, políticas e práticas

A educação brasileira tem sido apontada, pelas pesquisas oficiais e acadêmicas, assim como pelos movimentos sociais e, em especial, pelo Movimento Negro, como um espaço/tempo no qual persistem históricas desigualdades sociais e raciais. Esta situação exige do Estado a adoção de políticas e práticas de superação do racismo e da desigualdade racial na educação, as quais começam a ser implementadas de forma mais sistemática nos anos 2000. Nesse contexto, o debate sobre inclusão, diversidade e equidade na educação começa a ocupar um lugar mais destacado, possibilitando indagações, problematizações, desafios e redirecionamentos das políticas e das práticas realizadas pelo Ministério da Educação, pelos sistemas de ensino e pelas escolas.
