Impactos e efeitos de um programa de ajuda pública ao desenvolvimento em escolas públicas e privadas: um caso na Guiné-Bissau

O artigo procura focalizar-se na experiência de um Programa bilateral de apoio à educação, no âmbito da ajuda pública ao desenvolvimento de Portugal, tendo por referência a Guiné-Bissau. Após explicitar as questões inerentes à transnacionalização da educação, à ajuda pública ao desenvolvimento e à privatização da educação, o texto discute os impactos e efeitos que o apoio à educação pública teve nas escolas privadas. Para tal, recorreu-se a um corpus documental, a entrevistas semiestruturadas e a grupos focais. A análise indica que o apoio às escolas públicas, proporcionou, concomitantemente apoio às escolas privadas, tendo ainda a intervenção funcionado como mediador curricular.
