Abstract

O artigo analisa a regulação educativa em Minas Gerais, sob o enfoque da obrigação de resultados, e os seus efeitos sobre a inspeção escolar, função de controle e de verificação dos atos escolares. Os resultados indicam que o governo, por meio de um contrato de gestão, denominado “Acordo de Resultados”, associa as avaliações de desempenho aos resultados do sistema de avaliação, vinculando‑os aos reajustes salariais, prêmios e à progressão nas carreiras docentes. A inspeção escolar busca o reconhecimento profissional, legitimação social e maior participação na política educacional.
