Formação superior de professores da escola básica no Brasil e na França: uma aproximação possível?

Abstract

O texto apresenta o resultado de uma pesquisa sobre a formação em nível superior de professores de escola básica no Brasil e na França. A pesquisa de campo realizou-se no Brasil em 2006 e na França em 2007, sendo entrevistados professores e alunos dos cursos de Pedagogias  e Normal Superior da PUC-MG e da Universidade do Estado de Minas Gerais, no Brasil, e do Insitut Universitaire de Formation de Maîtres Antony Val de Bièvres, em Paris. O texto apresenta os principais aspectos da política de formação de professores dos dois países, aponta semelhanças e diferenças e assinala experiências da França que poderiam ser consideradas pelo Brasil no estabelecimento de sua política de formação de professores.
