Abstract

O artigo discute conhecimentos no campo da gestão educacional, apresentando pontos de vista sobre a (in)existência de um corpo teórico próprio no campo. As primeiras conclusões mostram que a teoria no campo não se articula de maneira apropriada com as razões práticas dos sujeitos que atuam na gestão educacional. O trabalho ainda apresenta uma breve avaliação sobre a produção científica brasileira no campo, cotejando-a com o processo de ensino e da formação de professores e dirigentes escolares/educacionais. O estudo aponta a importância da pesquisa científica nos processos de formação inicial e continuada de professores e dirigentes escolares.
