Este ensaio se tece a partir de conversa com a Profª Ana Maria Saul e de reflexões em torno dela. Objetiva apresentar a gestão freireana na SME/SP, conforme ela a percebe, hoje. Metodologicamente inscrito no campo da pesquisa narrativa, aborda, em três partes, os temas da educação democrática, dos diálogos universidade-escola e dos cotidianos e suas narrativas, presentes na gestão freireana, em diálogo com conceitos do autor como a humanização, o diálogo e o compromisso político do educador como formas de luta contra a dominação. No final, traz uma reflexão sobre a utopia freireana em oposição à distopia atual.Downloads
