Abstract

In the text we ask: What paradigm of the human is reproduced by our selective State of Human Rights? A State that fails to recognize social differences as human? That imposes the abyssal, sacrificial, colonial political paradigm of a “single human”? That destroys the matrices of human formation? That imposes an education for the market: competency-based curricula for competition within the Market State and Capital? These are radical political, ethical, and pedagogical inquires for curricula and human formation policies.

Miguel González Arroyo, Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG), Faculdade de Educação, Belo Horizonte, MG, Brasil. g.arroyo@uol.com.br https://orcid.org/0000-0002-3702-2057

Possui graduação em Ciências Sociais pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (1970), mestrado em Ciência Política pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (1974) e doutorado (PhD em Educação) - Stanford University (1976). É Professor Titular Emérito da Faculdade de Educação da UFMG. Foi Secretário Adjunto de Educação da Prefeitura Municipal de Belo Horizonte, coordenando e elaborando a implantação da proposta político-pedagógica Escola Plural. Acompanha propostas educativas em várias redes estaduais e municipais do país. Tem experiência na área de Educação, com ênfase em Política Educacional e Administração de Sistemas Educacionais, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: educação, cultura escolar, gestão escolar, educação básica e currículo.
