This article analyzes how the desire conceived as production corresponds to the driving force of the process of liberation and bodily autonomy experienced by the protagonist of the novel Lavouraarcaica (1989), by RaduanNassar. To this end, focusing on the importance of thinking about the dimension of corporeity and the productivity of the fruition of desire, we base ourselves on the studies of Paul Zumthor (2018), Baruch Spinoza (1973), Gilles Deleuze (1968; 2009) and Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guatari (2010), Merleau-Ponty (2006; 2009). For that, we present an interpretative-qualitative research, and from the plot of the referred novel, we evidence the importance of the desire in the potentiation of the protagonist's corporeal action. In this way, we observe the essentiality of understanding desire as a production based on the verification of its fundamental action in releasing the potential of the body as an event.
