Este ensaio discute a tensão entre ética e estética (que corresponde à oposição da filosofia da arte e da teoria estética) com a ajuda de três pensadores, que interiorizaram a experiência romântico-moderna, sem que se tornassem suspeitos de qualquer idealismo: Kierkegaard, Musil, Adorno.

Abstract
This essay discusses the tension between Ethics and Esthetics (which corresponds to the opposition of Philosophy of Arts and Esthetic Theory) helped by three thinkers, who interiorized the modern-romantic experience, without any suspicion of any idealism: Kiierkegaard, Musil, Adorno.
