Alusões e crítica feminista em “Um Teto Todo Seu”: uma análise das referências à balada escocesa “As quatro Marias” e a Judith Shakespeare

Resumen

Este estudo examina o papel das alusões no ensaio “Um teto todo seu” de Virginia Woolf, analisando sua função na crítica à cultura patriarcal por meio das personagens Judith Shakespeare e da referência à balada folclórica escocesa “The Four Marys”. Utilizando o conceito de intertextualidade de Venuti (2009) e fundamentando-se na análise de Alice Fox (1984) sobre a transformação da alusão por Woolf como estratégia para a crítica feminista, a pesquisa investiga o significado implícito das alusões, demonstrando como elas funcionam como ferramentas de crítica feminista. O método adotado envolve pesquisa bibliográfica e revisão da literatura pertinente para sustentar a proposta, destacando como as alusões permitem à autora ressuscitar vozes femininas silenciadas ao longo da história e proporcionam ao leitor uma compreensão mais profunda do texto woolfiano.
