This article aims at exploring the space of the student body as political spaces, those that are spaces of the practical exercise of politics and, in this way, they specifically qualify the space. We understand the school as an experimental space of democratic exercise too important, considering that the school space is not only a place of socialization, but an actor building education and the student body is the representative entity of the student body in this process. The analysis chosen is Pedro II College, because it is one of the oldest educational institutions in Rio de Janeiro. As methodology was done a survey of the statute of the institution, in addition to interviews with students from the campuses Centro, Tijuca and Humaitá, in order to draw a comparison.Downloads
