FRAMING SCENES: the collective act of (re)making imaginary through audiovisual

Cityscapes build and are built, daily, by experiences and memories of their social actors.
In this article, discussions start from this procedural configuration and its transformation
into art, through the aesthetic expression of memories, perspectives and experiences,
specifically in audiovisual, which have been unveiling, in Belém do Pará, na
Amazonian city, as a tool for (re)configuration of imaginaries of frontier
neighborhoods. The observation of this research takes place through street
ethnographies (ECKERT, ROCHA, 2003), virtual (PEREIRA; MENDES, 2020) and
expanded (DOMÍNGUEZ FIGAREDO, 2012), to approach the aspects of the
collectivity engendered by groups of filmmakers that, through belonging and
identification, have put the symbolic frontiers of an Amazon metropolis in evidence
from their social, political, economic and racial perspectives.
