Abstract

The paper presents renewed forms of museum organization: ecomuseum, community museum, favela museum, including memory points, their concepts, and interlacements. In this work we look at what these new forms of museums have become toidentify them in the intertwining of the online and the real forms. Therefore, the paper highlights the roots in the concepts of Social Museology, which relates interdisciplinary dialogues between Geography, Anthropology and the research methods of a digital and virtual ethnography. Based on previous bibliographic research, which was developed for a presentation and publication in a scientific meeting in 2021, and on a study about the future of museums carried out by ICOM-BR in 2020. The research concludesthat today's reality of Brazilian culture placed into a complex society, meanwhile there are countless possibilities for the preservation of memories and heritage.
