Accessible Poetics: an experience of Theatre Teaching at the Dom Bosco Special Teaching Center

Abstract

This text aims to present, through an experience report, the Theater Teaching practices developed at the Dom Bosco Special Education Center with students with disabilities in Rio Branco, Acre. The experience is the result of the discipline Stage and Accompaniment in Theater I, present in the Theater Course, of the Federal University of Acre. Thus, the writing proposes to highlight the importance of discussing Accessible Poetics, in order to ensure the access of people with disabilities in theatrical practices, as well as to describe the stages that surround this work, being them, 1- writing from the perspective of Observations on theatrical practices at the Dom Bosco Special Education Centre; 2- the impact of the III Meeting of Performing Arts and Cultural Accessibility: practices and unlearning and their importance in the teaching and learning process; 3- The Regencies: Poetics Accessible in theatrical practices. Therefore, it is proposed with this article, reaffirm the importance and the need for more training in the area of Performing Arts and Inclusive Education, so that future professionals in the area of Theater when accessing the labor market, have had the opportunity to experience experiences in the context of Special/Inclusive Education during the training process.
