Abstract

How are images capable of producing shared knowledge in an anthropological experience? This question is the object of reflection in this article, in the sense of proposing the image as a protagonist both in research and in the classroom. Photography and drawing become a form of writing in which people can read and rewrite their world, in critical knowledge building processes. In theoretical and methodological activities that allow observation and participation, proposing that to observe is to participate. Images as a form of reading and writing the world are a possibility of an Anthropology with persons, where they are authors and protagonists of their stories.

Keywords: Image. Shared anthropological experience. Word-image. Images-world. Anthropology through education.
