Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- O manuscrito não foi publicado ou submetido a outra revista.
- Os metadados inseridos na submissão devem estar de acordo com as informações do documento principal e da folha de rosto.
- É obrigatória a inclusão de dois nomes com afiliações e endereços de e-mail institucional para atuarem como revisores do manuscrito.
- A folha de rosto em documento separado (.doc ou .docx) contendo os nomes de todos os autores com suas instituições de vínculo, Orcid, e-mail e a indicação do autor correspondente.

O arquivo principal contém: Título (e Title, no caso do artigo não estar na íntegra em língua inglesa);.
Resumo (e Abstract, no caso do artigo não estar na íntegra em língua inglesa); Artigo completo, de acordo com a seção selecionada; Referências.
- O arquivo principal está em formato .doc ou .docx
- As citações e referências do artigo devem seguir o estilo Vancouver.
- Quando utilizar figuras, estas devem ser enviadas como suplemento e referenciadas ao longo do texto do artigo. Formato JPG, preferencialmente coloridas, resolução de 300 dpi e não exceder a cinco figuras.
- Todos os autores leram a versão enviada à revista e estão de acordo com a submissão da mesma.
Editorial
Critical and thorough review, prepared at the invitation of the editors, and submitted by an author with renowned knowledge on the subject. This section may include the Journal’s editorial of presentation, signed by the editor, besides special editorials that comprise requested collaborations about current themes or about articles published on the Journal.

Original Articles
Articles with unpublished research results, including full-length studies that contain all relevant information so that the reader may evaluate its results and conclusions, as well as replicate the research. Its formal structure should present the following topics: Introduction, Methods, Results and Discussion. The conclusions should be in the last paragraph of the Discussion, not requiring a specific section. Clinical implications and limitations of the study should be mentioned. For original articles, a structured abstract should be presented (Introduction, Methods, Results, and Conclusions) in Portuguese and English, in cases where the article is not written entirely in English.
