Abstract

A análise dos dados ecocardiográficos obtidos nos ensaios clínicos estabeleceu os principais preditores de prognóstico nos pacientes com insuficiência cardíaca por disfunção sistólica. Os preditores clássicos de prognóstico na insuficiência cardíaca são a fração de ejeção ventricular esquerda, a dimensão diastólica final ventricular esquerda e o padrão de enchimento ventricular esquerdo analisado através do fluxo transmitral. Novos parâmetros usando o Doppler tecidual e o uso combinado de variáveis independentes preditoras de prognóstico têm sido estudados para auxiliar a estratificação de risco em pacientes com insuficiência cardíaca por disfunção sistólica.
