Abstract

Creativity has been seen by organizations as a panacea that could bring about disruptive innovations. All new technologies are also considered knowledge and can be related to innovation. Initially, we reflect on the conceptualization of innovation, present a typology of innovation, and then develop a reflective proposition on innovation management, as well as focusing on innovation and journalistic revitalization. It is emphasized that innovation stems from creativity, which has to do with fantasy, and it is interesting that it involves communication at all stages and that a possibility for managing the innovation process has been proposed, which remains for critical reflection. Examining the news, we suggest that the innovative practices that have won international awards and can be related to journalistic reconfiguration are: (a) innovation for visualization and communication purposes, (b) innovation related to experiential imagery, (c) innovation in the form of experimental resources and (d) innovation in the form of artistic values, which will be presented below, in the context of the communicative relationships in which the Relational Map is presented. This highlights an innovative look at journalistic practices that can contribute to journalistic revitalization.
