Spirituality is a factor with potential to influence treatment adherence and the quality of life perception of patients diagnosed with breast cancer in Brazil. The present study aims to present data that support the discussion regarding the inclusion of spirituality in health policies in the context of breast cancer patients in Brazil. Quantitative data from 842 women diagnosed with breast cancer in the country, collected through an online self-completion form1, indicate a positive perception of the approach of spirituality in coping with the disease.
