This article investigates the actions of Fama in the face of the problem of the rehabilitation of the Malweka Bridge and in light of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), considering the 16th goal. On the other hand, it points out the importance of the political participation of young people in Angola. The objective is to highlight how, through the concept of political culture, confrontation becomes a possible tool for formulating public policies, for upgrading the bridge and for local development (in Malweka). The research is based on the assumption that: from 2018 to 2022, Fama has been working hard as an agent of mediation between civil society and government entities, advocating changes that generate sustainability in the community. This research uses a qualitative approach based on in-depth interviews. The text concludes by pointing out that Fama's actions highlight the SDGs, as they articulate political culture and civic engagement for citizen education.
