Abstract

This article reflects on the specificities of research in the field of art, focusing on investigations in which artistic practice is at the core of the work. By emphasizing the creative process as a research action, the reflection approaches artistic processes as spaces for knowledge production. The discussion aims to offer contributions to the artist-researcher by bringing together various issues inherent to this mode of investigation within the academic context.

Angelene Lazzareti (Angi Lazzareti) é artista, professora e diretora do coletivo Poéticas do ENTRE. É Doutora em Artes Cênicas e professora adjunta do Instituto Latino-Americano de Arte, Cultura e História da Universidade Federal da Integração Latino-Americana. Investigadora do campo das Artes Cênicas, trabalha sobre as linhas: Processos de criação artística; Estudos do corpo; e Poéticas do “entre”.
