Art in Basic Education: reflections about artistic performance in the context of art practices in high school

This article is the result of reflections on the practice of the curricular component Internship in Dance in High School, of the 6th phase of the Degree in Dance, of the Fundação Universidade Regional de Blumenau/SC, carried out with students of the 1st year of high school at the Instituto Federal de Santa Catarina (IFSC), Campus Gaspar. The purpose of the internship was to work with artistic performance. In one of the evaluations, the students should develop re-readings of performances by the artist Marina Abramović. Eight of them were contextualized in this article. Themes such as feminism, place of the body, and empowerment gained prominence in the performances developed. In addition, the development of autonomy in the students' authorial processes was noticeable.
