Abstract

This article aims to contribute for the reflection and production of knowledge concerning artistic and pedagogic practices from the presentation  and understanding of the principles that guided the creation of the Experimental Dance Group from the City of Porto Alegre, RS, Brazil. Therefore, concepts and fundaments on the bases of the model for classes and the curriculum itself, developed by the City Hall center of the City Cultural Bureau, are presented and discussed here.

Author Biography

Airton Ricardo Tomazzoni dos Santos, PUC RS

Doutor em Educação pela UFRGS. Possui graduação em Jornalismo pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (1993) e mestrado em Ciências da Comunicação pela Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos (2005). Atualmente é professor do Curso de Graduação em Dança, da Universidade Estadual do Rio Grande do Sul/Fundarte e diretor do Centro Municipal de Dança da Prefeitura Municipal de Porto Alegre. Tem experiência na área de Artes, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: gestão cultural, educação, artes cênicas(dança e teatro) e mídia (televisão e cinema).
