Abstract

Concepts from neuroscience, with emphasis on knowledge of the right cerebral hemisphere functions, were applied as a method of stage direction. The method aimed to stimulate creativity and facilitate the memorization process of the theatrical text. The author´s experience using the method during rehearsals of eight plays is described.
