This paper focuses on the encounters between theatre groups while circulating and touring and the cultural indicators that allow us to visualize who these groups are, analyzed from a regional perspective. Within this context, it presents notions of the experiences of Turn and Ground, formulated from two figures that interpenetrate each other referenced by Benjamin - the "sedentary peasant" and the "merchant sailor"- and the experiences lived by XAMA theatre group- MA. The paper reflects how the different paths of the groups cross each other, putting the performing artists in a state of residence, ride, trip, or dérive (drift). The results from the research developed by the authors about the 20 years of the SESC Palco Giratório circulation project help us to discuss how itinerancy mechanisms contribute to empowering the production flow of performing arts. We analyze them from their sustainability and permanence point of view, as well as the number of groups at a state level, at a regional level, and in each year of the studied period. Finally, it reflects how these bonds between the circulating theatre groups - developed from esthetics and spiritual affinities- return to the arts that subtle essence that our everyday life insists on disguising.
