This article aims to discuss the actions and strategies adopted by researchers of Women's History with regard to the construction and consolidation of this field in Latin America. To this end, we draw on oral history interviews conducted with two Argentine historians: Dora Barrancos and Mirta Zaida Lobato. By articulating their narratives with the historiographical production on the subject, we intend to explore the potential and creativity that guide Women's History in Latin America.
