Abstract

The Brazilian federal deputy Luiza Erundina de Sousa has donated her personal archives to Research and Documentation Center of Brazilian Contemporany History (CPDOC-FGV) in 2019. After works of classification, ordering and description, it was opened to research in 2023. Like a product of accumulations fulfilled over her personal and political trajectory, this archive give us informations about how she shapes her memories and self representations. Among these sources, this parlamentary left frames that were exposed on her office. This use probably is not occasional, but  product of her esthetic, mnemonic and political wishes with the aim to manager her self representation and transmit it to people who perhaps visit her office. From these informations, this article has the aim to analyse how Luiza Erundina use her pictures to tell her life and manage her identities, legacy and simbolical capitals.
