The article analyzes the reformulations of practices and social behaviors in Gaul between the sixth and seventh centuries in connection with the inclusion of Christian values by the Merovingian royalty in their acts of governance. The proposal is to try to delineate what was this project and what it meant in terms of conduct's regulation. To do so, we will examine the conciliar texts arising from the period episcopal assemblies, which provide examples of measures that walked in this direction.
