This paper aims to trace the path of Argentine workers’ representations to the International Labour Organization during the years of classical Peronism (1945-1955). The paper argues that the Argentine workers’ delegations under Peronism had to overcome a process of isolation into the Workers Group due to the loss of international ties built in the run-up to World War II. However, the context of instability of the international alignments of the trade unions resulting from the end of World War II and the beginning of the Cold War, greater internal political stability of the Argentine General Confederation of Labour and the desire include the workers as civil servants of the Peronist government favored greater stability of representation in Geneva. This almost bureaucratic stability allowed for the reconstruction of international links and the possibility of deploying an own program in the international sphere for the Argentine delegates.
