This article expands the reflections on the knowledge presented as necessary for the exercise of teaching History in Basic Education. Specifically, it aims to analyze how the profiles of graduates identified in the Pedagogical Political Projects (PPP) of the degree courses in History present the domains related to learning, school and students of Basic Education. As a methodological option, quantitative procedures are used to identify and map the 27 PPPs of the federal universities that make up the sample. Then proceed to the qualitative analysis of the cataloged data composing tables for each region of the country. The analyzes point out that there is a considerable diversity of domains identified in the alumni profiles, with emphasis on theoretical and historiographical knowledge and little recurrence of those linked to learning, school and students of Basic Education.
