The quality of life (QL) in patients with cancer is affected by factors which are related to the disease and its treatment. The oral health of patients with head and neck cancer is highly affected by the cancer it-self and sequels of treatment, wich might compromise his/her QL. The purpose of this study is to review the literature about QL in patients with head and neck cancer, relating the adverse conditions to oral health, these are consequents of the oncologic treatment, it is giving emphasis to the importance of team performance in multidisciplinary oncologic care; in which the dentist should be part.Downloads
