Abstract

The aim of this study was to evaluate the dimensional change of a gallium alloy in comparison with four dental amalgams. The results showed that the amalgams satisfied the nº 1 A.D.A. specification which allows 0 ± 20 µm/cm dimensional change. The same did not occur with the gallium alloy wich showed an expansion of 27,38 µm/cm.
