The technological advancement of industry 4.0 is increasingly accelerated. While management can be facilitated by innovations that reduce variables and human errors and reduce costs such as information storage, on the other hand, it increases the exposure of users to possible cyber-attacks. The objective of this study is to carry out a bibliometric analysis of the Brazilian scientific production in the area of data security and industry 4.0 between the years 2017 and 2021, through the Scopus and Web of Science platforms, in order to identify the main trends and challenges. Therefore, 23 articles were mapped and analyzed. The results show that some subtopics stand out in terms of attention in research on data security, with emphasis on Industry 4.0 pillars, such as 'IoT', 'systems integration' and 'Big Data'. In Brazil, the theme 'cyber attacks' is alone the most cited among the sample of articles studied.
