Abstract

From a decolonial perspective, thinking “from” and “with” indigenous peoples, as Segalés (2014) teaches us, thinking from Latin America, our reflections in this study are intertwined with the thought of deconstruction (DERRIDA, 2001; 2004; 2007), the decentralization of thought and certainties that were built within a Western conception, taking into account other knowledge and practices, in which our investigative processes can be established in a dialogue with indigenous intellectuals (ANDRADE, 2019; BANIWA 2012 ; BENITES, 2009; BENITES, 2014; In this way, we understand that indigenous methodologies, developed and produced in interaction with the community, can be an important and significant tool in contributing to our way of seeing, understanding and moving in the field of research.
