    Abstract

    This article analyses the monetary policy, the interest rates, and the applications in term deposits, during the Collor Plan. The paper intends to show that the liquidity restriction and the inflation rate increased the shortage of long-term credit, as well as changed the term deposits in the main financial assets belonging to die private investors.
