Systematic approach for dental attendance in geriatric institutions

A systematic approach is a program that proposes a methodological perspective to monitor oral health, prevent oral diseases, and treat accumulated oral and dental problems. The aim of this paper is propose a methodology of treatment aproach to institutionalized elderly people. The general and oral health status as well as the medical and behavior conditions are used as indicators of a chronological attention for dental care.Downloads
