Abstract

These atudy have provided information concerning the frequency from patient’s age and Sex, and anatomical region in 55 Odontogenic Keratocysts. All cases were registered in the Dental School Oral Pathology Laboratory of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. The majority of lesions were found in age groups from 31 to 40 years (29,09%), 54, 55% of the lesions were found in female patients and 61, 82% lesions occurred in the mandible. It is sugested that these findings have a relationship whith the ocurrence of Odontogenic Keratocysts.
