Entre autoras, diário e memórias: a linguagem da barbárie em "O que os cegos estão sonhando"?
Resumo
O objetivo deste artigo é analisar a obra O que os cegos estão sonhando (2012), de Noemi Jaffe, situando-a na produção memorialística sobre o Holocausto. O ponto de partida da leitura é o processo de elaboração, a publicação e a relação entre autoria e pacto de leitura. Tais reflexões apontam para a necessidade de se refletir, também, sobre o modo como o diário é composto e quais características desse gênero textual são mantidas ou rompidas. Uma vez investigado de que forma o texto comunica, no que diz respeito à sua estrutura, a etapa seguinte é pensar sobre o que ele comunica. Para isso, analisam-se questões referentes a algumas simbologias presentes na obra e à linguagem como forma de dominação e expressão da barbárie.
Between authors, diary and memories: the language of barbarism in What are the blind dreaming about? - Abstract: The aim of this article is to analyze Naomi Jaffe’s book What are the blind dreaming about? (2012), placing it in the production about the Memory of the Holocaust. The starting point of the analysis is the process of elaboration, publication and relationship between author and readers through a reading pact. Such reflections signalize the need to reflect also about how the diary is composed and which features of this text gender are either kept or broken. After investigating how the text informs about its structure, the next step is to think about what it communicates. In order to do this, we analyze both some symbols included in the book and the language as a form of domination and an expression of barbarianism.
