The process of caring of the clients with AIDS, using a homeodynamics model

Abstract

This work describes and analyses the experience of taking care of clients with AIDS (using a Homeodynamic Model of Martha E. Rogers), which was published in a previous issue of this admitted journal. This practice was developed, initially, with four clients admmitted to a hospital, in the city of Florianópolis – SC, and later extender to homes and out patient clinics. From the analysis of this practice I concluded that the Homeodynamics Model (framework and nursing process) was possible to be used in the process of caring for clients with AIDS, conferring it a more humanistic, advanced and effective approach as compared to the health- illness process, and I recommend its application in order to further evaluate and improve of it.
