Abstract

This study analyses the perceptions and the feelings of the parents that saw their son`s birth and also of those people that have never had this opportunity before. A estrutured instrument was used with open and closed question between 138 parents in a Porto Alegre`s hospital. The results showed the happiness of the parents that saw the delivery and the wish of the people that never had chance, to saw it. The study suggests some investigations about the perception and the feelings of the woman and the team about the father`s presence inside the delivery-room.
