Children with special needs: counterpoints between law and reality

Abstract

This study has as its goal to realize a reflection about the Brazilian legislation, which is about the child who has special necessities and put this child toward the daily practice. Although, the child’s rights have been legalized, we can see that, daily, a tie between what law guarantees and what is concretized in practice. The legislation, which defends the child who has special necessities exists, however, it is necessary make it practiced and to stop this precocity’s historical journey. However, to reach the practice of the legislation is very important to have people conscientious of them rights and exercising their citizenship to have a better life’s quality. Reality, as literature, could be modified through the child’s citizenship exercise and the family’s citizenship exercise, originating the conscientiousness that they are people who have rights to have rights.
