Toxicant of three concentrations of Herb-of-mouse (Palicourea marcgravii) and Manipueira (Manihot esculenta Crantz) in green citrus aphid (Aphis spiraecola Patch) in experimental conditions
Abstract
Studies have been registering the use of plants toxicant an alternative for the control of curses, among them, stands out to erva-de-rato (Palicourea marcgravii) and the residue of the cassava, the manipueira (Manihot esculenta) common plants in the amazon area, that it possesses as active the acids monofluoracetico and the acid cianídrico, both attack the krebs cycle harming the cellular breathing. That work had as objective principal, to investigate the potential insecticide of Manihot esculenta (manipueira) and Palicourea marcgravii (erva-de-rato) on aphid green citrus (Aphis spiraecola Patch)in experimental conditions. That greenfly attacks the citros, of the young leaves and death of the sprouts. In laboratory, they were obtained extracts of these two plants, in three concentrations (10mg/ml, 30mg/ml and 50mg/ml). In agreement with the results, it was observed, that the concentration 50 mg/ml, presented the largest rate of mortality of Aphis spiraecola. However, the manipueira use and erva-de-rato are an alternative of insecticide products, for the handling and control of the brown citrus aphid.Downloads
