Sinopsis of aclorophyllus herbs in north of the Atlantic Forest of Brazil

Myco-heterotrophs and parasitic of roots are aclorophyllous plants occur understory among decaying leaves of umid forests. The parasitic of roots get substances in host plant, and the myco-heterotrophys have associated fungus in the roots, and obten the nutrients through the decomposition of litter fall. This study is synopsis of aclorophyllous herbs (inclueded myco-heterotrophs and parasitic of roots plants) found in states of Ceará, Rio Grande do Norte, Paraíba, Pernambuco, Alagoas e Sergipe. Collecting was done in some areas of citaded states, and the principal herbaria of study area has visited. Eleven species are found, the six genera and four families of myco-heterotrophic, and only one species parasitic of roots: Langsdorffia hypogaea Mart. (Balanophoraceae). Campylosiphon purpurascens Benth. (Burmanniaceae) is recorded for the first time to north of Rio São Francisco.Downloads
