Abstract

The work presents nomenclatural notes about some Brazilian species of Baccharis sect. Caulopterae DC. The study was based on literature and herbaria revision, including study of types, and field observations. As results, the lectotypification of Baccharis organensis Baker and eight heterotypic synonyms are proposed. Comments justifying the propositions are provided.
