Gasteromycetes (Basidiomycota) from the Itapuã Park, municipality of Viamão, Rio Grande do Sul State, Brazil

Abstract

In the mycological survey of the Itapuã Park (municipality of Viamão, Rio Grande do Sul State, south Brazil), some specimens of gasteroid mushrooms were collected and identified: Geastrum lageniforme Vittad., G. pectinatum Pers., G. saccatum Fr., G. schweinitzii (Berk. & M.A. Curtis) Zeller, G. smardae V.J. Stanek, Calvatia rugosa (Berk. & M.A. Curtis) D.A. Reid, Lycoperdon perlatum Pers.: Pers., Vascellum pretense (Pers.: Pers.) Kreisel, Mutinus elegans (Mont.) E. Fisch., Lysurus periphragmoides (Klotzsch) Dring, Scleroderma albidum Pat. & Trab. emend. Guzmán, and Tulostoma exasperatum Mont. Among these, M. elegans is firstly reported from Brazil and G. smardae and V. pratense are new records for Rio Grande do Sul State mycobiota.
